About Biagio Chez Victor

If you’ve ever seen yourself as a bit of a legend stage, screen, charts or canvas you’ll be in good company at Wardour Street’s Chez Victor. Previously frequented by Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, Ringo Starr and Brian Epstein, Rex Harrison, Vivien Leigh and Robert Redford if the walls could talk here they’d be namedropping with the best of them. In 2005 Biagio took the brave decision to update the historic institution and the gamble has paid off – Chez Victor is now a stunningly contemporary space still with oodles of atmosphere and style by the bucketload. A Mediterranean menu influenced by French and Italian cooking is classic yet fashionable.

Signature dish

Sample dishes

  • Frog's legs sautéed in butter, garlic and parsley, £9.95
  • Steak tartare (finely chopped raw fillet steak with egg yolk, onions, capers, lemon, mustard, pepper and tabasco), £16.50

Had a lovely meal at Biagio Chez Victor. The restaurant looks nice from the outside but even nicer inside. Service was excellent and the food was good.

The menu is limited to 4 starters and 4 main courses. i would have preferred the option of having a desert instead. The soup for starters was a bit tangy but the fried cheese was amazingly good. Pasta for main course was ok but there were other options like chicken and salmon. We did end up having a desert ,but 3 scoops of lemon sorbet for £6 was a bit expensive. All the food was well presented and the staff were amazingly friendly. Not brilliant but not bad.
